The cash reward applies only when a "New Customer" opens a new personal People's United checking account with Direct Deposit between 4/1/10 and 5/21/10. A "New Customer" is an individual who has had no personal checking accounts at People's United Bank during the preceding 90 days. If a new account will be held by more than one person and any of those persons is not a "New Customer", the account will not be eligible for this offer. Title to the new account must be held by one or more New Customers in one of the following three ways: individually, jointly, or on a "doing business as" basis. The minimum deposit to open the account and earn the reward is $25. Limit of $100 in reward money per household. One reward per household. Qualifying New Customers' accounts will receive the reward credited to the checking account by 7/30/10. Checking account must be open and in good standing at time of reward crediting. Fees may reduce earnings. Reward will be subject to tax reporting. This offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other offers. People's United Bank may withdraw this offer at any time without notice. People's United Bank employees are not eligible. To earn the $100 reward, the New Customer must receive at least one direct deposit of $100 or greater into the checking account within 45 days of account opening.
