When you open and activate any First Niagara checking account, you’ll get $25!*

To qualify for the $25 checking bonus, you must open and "activate" any of the following First Niagara Bank, N.A. personal checking accounts, as well as obtain a First Niagara MasterCard® Debit card for that account, between September 20, 2010 and November 12, 2010: Value, Preferred, Prestige, or eChecking account (Bundle or stand-alone).

"Activate" is defined as having performed five (5) of any combination of the following transactions prior to December 30, 2010; ATM deposit or withdrawal, point-of-sale purchase, ACH debit or credit, or direct deposit transaction. Signing up for Online Bill Pay can replace one of the five (5) transactions. Activity must take place within the qualifying account. The account must be opened with the applicable minimum balance requirement from September 20, 2010 through November 12, 2010. Account must be open at time of payment in order to receive payment.

To qualify for the Belief Backer Bundle cash bonus, customer must open a Value, Senior, or Preferred Belief Backer Bundle to receive the additional $25 cash bonus, or open a Prestige Belief Backer Bundle to receive the additional $50 bonus. See bundle requirements as listed in the Bank's Schedule of Fees and Transaction Limitations in your Account Disclosure Booklet, or speak with a Bank representative for details on Bundle requirements. For bundle cash reward payments, customer must meet and maintain all bundle requirements in order to receive payment. Bundle requirements must be met by December 30, 2010.

Primary owner on the checking account cannot be primary owner on another First Niagara checking account opened prior to September 20, 2010. Employees and members of their household are not eligible for this promotion. Offer cannot be combined with any other reward/bonus program (such as Bank at Work program).

Offer expires November 12, 2010. Cash bonuses will be deposited into your new checking account by January 31, 2011. Cash bonus is considered interest income and will be reported on IRS form 1099-INT. One activation and bundle reward per household.
