Aer Lingus Rewards Program:

a) The Aer Lingus Rewards Program ("the Program") in conjunction with the Aer Lingus Rewards MasterCard is not part of the Aer Lingus Frequent Flyer program. Aer Lingus and Barclays may change the program regulations at any time with or without prior notice. Aer Lingus Limited, Atlantic Division, sponsors the Aer Lingus Rewards Program. Reward Points and Rewards may not be combined or used in connection with any other airline, travel reward, and/or credit card programs.

B) On the closing date of each billing cycle that your Account remains open and current, Barclays will calculate the Net Purchases charged to your Account during a billing cycle. If your Account is not open and/or current on the date a billing cycle closes, we will calculate no Net Purchases for that billing cycle. Points will be issued to the Primary Cardmember, regardless of who made the purchase. "Net Purchases" for a billing cycle are determined by totaling all new purchases added to the Account during the billing cycle, and then subtracting points posted to the Account during the period for returned purchases and/or adjustments. For purposes of calculating Net Purchases, we may round up or down to whole dollar amounts. If points for returned purchases exceed new purchases during a billing cycle, we will calculate negative Net Purchases and reduce the Primary Cardmembers accrued points accordingly. Net Purchases does not include fees, finance charges, credit insurance premiums, or transactions posting as Cash Advances or non-qualifying Balance Transfers, whether received from financial institutions, automated teller machines, by use of Barclays checks, or by any other means. Barclays reserves the right to exclude from Net Purchases any unauthorized purchases or purchases which are added to your Account after you are past due or over limit. Barclays may withdraw points previously awarded if your Account is more than sixty (60) days past due, or if the points were awarded on purchases not authorized by you. Barclays is not responsible for arranging or providing any services related to travel or the use of points or for any delay, failure, or refusal by Aer Lingus to redeem points. We will show on your monthly Account statement the Primary Cardmember's accrued points as reflected in our records. Points are valid for three years from posting date and will expire if not redeemed.

c) Cardmembers will receive one point for every one dollar ($1.00) of Net Purchases made on the Account rounded to the nearest dollar and two points will be issued for every one dollar ($1.00) of Net Purchases of Aer Lingus tickets and Aer Lingus in flight purchases made with the Account rounded to the nearest dollar.

d) Bonus Points: 5000 bonus points will be awarded upon the first use of your Account for a purchase or balance transfer. Bonus points will be posted at the close of your first billing statement after an initial qualifying purchase or balance transfer is made.

e) Redeeming Points: To redeem points you must call Aer Lingus directly at 1-800-474-7424 at least 30 days prior to travel. Call center hours of operation for redemption are Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm Eastern Standard Time. The redemption levels are subject to change at any time and may vary based on availability and seasonal travel. Free flights may not be available on all flights. Rewards exclude government taxes/fees/facility charges of up to $45 eastbound and $80 westbound and the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 for U.S. enplanements and are subject to change. Passengers must pay all taxes, fees and charges. Changes in itinerary will result in additional fees. Award tickets are not refundable. Program terms are subject to change and are void where prohibited by law. Upgrade to Premier Class is not valid on flight numbers EI 104/ EI 105 JFK/DUB.

f) From time to time, we may offer bonuses or points or other premiums (for example, First Use Points, First Use Certificates, and Promotional Companion Tickets) to new Aer Lingus Cardmembers. Unless otherwise stated in the offer, these bonuses and /or awards are intended for persons who are not, and have not previously been, Aer Lingus MasterCard Cardmembers. You understand and agree that, unless we otherwise state, you are no longer eligible to receive these bonuses and/or awards for any new Aer Lingus MasterCard account you open after this Account is opened. If you receive a bonus or award for which you are not eligible, we may revoke the bonus or award, or reduce your points by the amount of the award, or charge your account for the fair value of the bonus or award, at our option. Points expire after 36 billing cycles if not redeemed. Points are not transferable and cannot be transferred or sold.

g) Aer Lingus is not a party to the Credit Card Cardmember Agreement between you and us, does not participate in any extension of credit and has no authority regarding the Account. Barclays is the sole creditor and owner of the Account. You authorize us to share information about your account with Aer Lingus to the extent needed to administer the Aer Lingus Rewards Program. You also agree that we may share Account information as set forth in our Privacy Policy.
